The Ghost Beano 4th March 1961 ('Ken Reid and Leo Baxendale have a holiday!')

Who were the ghost artists when Ken Reid and Leo Baxendale were away?
I also think the three bears is also a ghost artist in the same issue..all very well done..

Baxendale may have been on holiday but Reid was on sick leave - he was unable to work for five or six weeks at that time because he had his eye poked...

Sounds awful..
Do you know the Jonah artist at this time?

Ray Moore has identified the artist as Bob McGrath. He substituted Ken on Jonah in the Beano issues 969-972.

I was going to guess that McGrath may have drawn that Three Bears. There’s something of Ron Spencer about the Kids, but I wouldn’t swear to it either!
