Wonder if those men are based on anyone...it has a bit of a caricature.

This looks like a reprint and maybe its been renamed...anyone seen this in another comic of the 60's..like Eagle etc..thanks

Tom Paterson's sock!!

Its a nice nod to Tom Paterson who was drawing Sweeny Toddler in the same comic Whizzer and chips 5th October 1985..
As everyone knows Tom Paterson drew a smelly sock as  a trademark...so Sid Burgon who drew Joker is suggesting its Tom with the smelly feet!!  Nice one Sid..it made me smile..

Brian Walker draws great readers wordsearchs for Whizzer and chips 1982

Heres a tricky one to do...you have to work out these past stars of Whizzer and chips to do this word search...it was part of Merry Memories Booklet...each year in the pullout over the weeks had different characters..like Belle Tent...Lucky Dick..Wear em out Wilf..etc..

Readers sent in there word searches and Brian illustrated it...so a good challenge as the picture has to be worked out first..I love readers being involed in the comic...maybe The Beano could do this?

As my scanner is still not working I'd thought the camera would work just as well..

We now know the artist to Loser is Tony Goffe thanks to Lew Stringer and Niblet!!
