Of the comics shown here, I was buying The Beano and 2000AD, but I was also buying Krazy, Buster (which I think at the time was styling itself Buster and Monster Fun), and Whizzer and Chips. I was also buying a selection of imported Marvel and DC titles (although the distribution of the US comics to newsagents was rather haphazard), and visiting Dark They Were and Golden Eyed to purchase some US comics which weren't distributed to newsagents - I really didn't like those Marvel UK black and white and chopped-about reprints of US comics, I much preferred the full colour versions.
I was only getting "Spider-Man and Capt Britain" and that was only out of habit as had been buying it since issue 1. A lot of these comics look really tired in layout etc to me looking back .
