Oh I loved Big Fat Boko! I read him when I was about six in 1954. I gave it all the attention demanded by serious literature.
I actually remember the Big Fat Boko strip featured! I was 10 at the time. Beautiful, elegant drawings and simple, witty narratives. What happened to these talented – and often unacknowledged – illustrators?
