Thanks for This post. I Just love solono's artwork. Apart from that, i love the story by steve goodall as well.(His other stories have also been published in India).
What i disliked with the story was the abrupt ending that it had when Buster got merged with Jet.
Thanks for sharing some wonderful work, and especially the Toys of Doom. I remember having read it somewhere, but don't recollect whether it was on Tamil or English Editions...
Titan Books had recently printed an edition featuring Toys of Doom, if I remember correctly.
brings back the memories, PETER! GALAXUS was always such a tragic figure.......'TOYS of DOOM' was always such a depressing title, but a powerful, sinister strip I have never forgotten.
Swoon - Lopez, my favourite IPC adventure artist. His style is whaty I most associate with the 'IPC adventure style.' I believe he had a team of artists helping him out, hence him being so prolific.

If you can provide the images of Raven..I'll put them up on the blog...post them up at comicsuk forum.. I don't collect Valiant..being more a humour comic fan...though do like adventure stories a lot more these days..

Well, as well as IPC's best adventure strips, Valiant did have lots of Reg Parlett humour strips - double page Billy Bunters, Mowser and his favourite strip The Crows, plus Leo Baxendale's Swots and the Blots double-pagers and Bluebottle and Basher, etc.

So many comics to collect so little time to read them..so little space in flat...so little money..
looks like Valiant will be on my list to collect..
