Memories as a young boy trying to see the Bunion cartoon in my father's paper. In the 1960s Belfast Telegraph I was headed 'More Fun With Bunion'. Timeless!

These are absolutely beautiful and they illustrate what strip art is all about, larity, economy and humour. Thanks.

When my family moved to Bristol, in 1964, I was surprised to see Bunion cartoons in the local newspaper, because, although internet searches are revealing nothing, I'm sure that in the Manchester Evening News, the character was known as Ramsbottom. Am I mistaken?

Regards, John Guthrie.

You are right - Ramsbottom in the MEN. Strange that there is nothing online.
